Weather inconveniences

‘Tis the season for snow! As much as we love the white stuff falling from the sky, our number one priority is the safety of our clients and members. So with that being said, there will NOT be any classes or athletic training tonight (Thursday Jan 7th) at State of Fitness. Unless Franklin county is on a Level 2 snow emergency tomorrow, the TRX class at noon is still on! See you tomorrow and be safe while you enjoy the white stuff falling from the sky. :)

New TRX classes are coming to State of Fitness!

We have added Bobbie Kuhns’ TRX classes to our lineup of classes at State of Fitness. Those of you who know Bobbie know she is one of the best TRX instructors in the state, if not the country. For those of you who do not, come on in and see why she is so good.

Bobbie will teach on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon, beginning January 5. Cost is $90 for one day a week, or $165 for two days a week. Session is six weeks long. Space is limited.

If you’d like to try the TRX hands-on first, contact us to set up an appointment for a free trial.

We are also in the process of adding boot camp, athletic conditioning, tactical training, and other classes. And yes, we still are the Central Ohio premiere gym for all your kettlebell training! Stop in and check out our facility at 169 Mill Street in Gahanna. (We are just north of Creekside).

Thanksgiving week class changes

‘Tis the season for family, travel, and holiday celebration. With such joys comes slight changes in our class schedule the week of Thanksgiving. Additional changes for Christmas and New Year’s will be posted in December.

The Wednesday 11/25/09 5:30am class with Joel is cancelled this week, but will resume the following week on Wednesday 12/02/09.

Just for fun we are adding a ‘Free for All’ Turkey Day workout at 9am Thanksgiving morning! This class is open to all members and non-members alike. So bring a friend and get your workout done early before you cram turkey and pumpkin pie in your mouth. This class is free for everyone so please stop in.

New Class starting this week!

Attention Early Risers! Due to the success of our 5:30am Tues & Thurs classes we are adding a 5:30am class on Wednesdays starting this week Nov. 4th! Joel G. Jose, RKC will be leading the Wed class. He and Dave Clancy, RKC (who teaches the Tues and Thurs 5:30am classes) will plan their workouts each week to complement each other to benefit you the most. As always, coffee is welcome at the 5:30am classes. :) Enjoy!

Classes cancelled on Beggar’s night

Classes on Thurday night, Oct 29, 2009 will be cancelled due to Beggar’s Night in many communities. The 5:30am Early Riser Kettlebell class is still scheduled. Get your swing on first thing in the morning. Coffee is welcome. Have a safe and happy Trick-or-Treat!
